PAL Winnipeg under the leadership of Wayne Niklas has applied for
Chapter status became incorporated in the Spring of 2007 and is currently
liaising with the community at large for support of PAL Winnipeg. In

The economic rewards of a career in the professional performing arts
are elusive. The performing arts community has always recognized this
and has a tradition of working together to help those of its members
who are in need of support. That is why organizations like PAL Canada
exist. That is why PAL Canada needs to be able to discharge its
mandate effectively. That is why the organizations that represent
performing artists support PAL Canada as a body which will work towards
the aims of that mandate on a national level. PAL Canada currently
receives limited support from membership fees and organizations which
represent the interests of performing artists, including ACTRA, AF of
M, CAEA DGC, CFTPA and ACA. The organization has also received
invaluable assistance from private donors.
